Carl has 33 years of experience in IT. He started his IT career serving in the United States Air Force. While in the US Air Force, he gained valuable experience in Cybersecurity and Cyberwarfare.
In the Corporate sector, Carl designed solutions as a Novell CNE (Certified Netware Engineer) and CDIA (Certified Document Imaging Architect), which included customer electronic records security, network/internet access security, user access security, enterprise backups, and disaster recovery.
From there, he went on to start his own business. His business provided ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions to Local Government, Federal Government, and Corporations in the Mid Atlantic region. During that time, he gained valuable experience in business management, marketing, and sales. The business eventually grew to 45 employees before being sold.
Carl is passionate about helping businesses develop their Cybersecurity capabilities. He specializes in CMMC and HIPAA compliance, and assists each of his customers to apply best practices to protect them from cyber-criminals, including strategic planning and alignment with compliance standards.
Carl has a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, a degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University, and an MBA from Regent University. He is currently pursuing an MS in Cybersecurity from Regent University.
